The first offering will involve the sale on or about January 7 of 77,630 shares, the proceeds of which will be earmarked for the refunding of long term debt maturing on January 15. The second offering will involve the sale on or about January 20 of 222,370 shares, the proceeds of which will be used to reduce bank loans incurred to provide interim financing for construction expenditures and for other corporate purposes. It is expected that the offering dates for these new shares will be published in the newspapers about January 7 and January 20. The offerings will be made by prospectuses which will be available at that time. You may secure detailed information about the new issues and prices at which these shares of preferred stock may be bought from the prospectuses, copies of which you will be able to obtain from your banker or investment broker.
