Dear Mr. Simmons:

It was pleasant to learn from Mr. Emile Wolf that you were purchasing the drawing by RAFFET - "La Giralda". It is indeed a most charming work which I feel certain you will enjoy. Not only is it of great esthetic merit but too most interesting architecturally and historically speaking.

You will notice that it reveals the Moorish influence in that part of Spain when the Moslems prospered in the earlier centuries.

My Firm's invoice (herein enclosed) in the amount of $350.00 will further give you all bibliographical data.

The drawing is being sent to you momentarily, Air Express, all expenses prepaid and remains fully insured by my Firm until its delivery.

May I ask you to return with your signature one of the two enclosed shipping forms, thus acknowledging the safe arrival of the case.

Trusting these lines will reach you in good health, and with best greetings,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
