JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., INC, 5 EAST 57TH STREET NEW YORK, NEW YORK 10022 July 30,1970 Dear Mr. Seligman: The Marble was delievered by Sheraton this morning. Everything went according to plan. When I arrived this morning at 9 a.m. they were already there. I find one figure (on the bottom) very, very slightly damaged, looks [[strikethrough]] as a ne chip [[/strikethrough]] like a new chip, very slight. Another figure looks rubbed, but could be even old. I wrote at-once to McKay just in case you decide to claim, and enclose a copy of my letter to Mr. Thompson. I left the marble in the case and it is lying flat on the floor under Holmes, looks to me the [[strikethrough]] savest way [[/strikethrough]] safest way. With best regards to you and Mrs. Seligman very sincerely Porjes I am leaving Saturday morning.
