Attendance is twenty six - tuition is from 50 to 75 cents a month. Like Miss Scott's school it is greatly in need of blackboards and suitable benches: both these school would be much more efficient with better accommodations.

The room used is a kitchen and is altogether too small for school purposes — there are no blackboards or suitable seats.

I would recommend, urgently, the policy of encouraging the best private schools, by rent, and supplying some of the most essential items of school furniture, such as blackboards, maps, and a few desks, in order to manage writing; and that these schools should be often inspected and reported upon.
