States that, by directions of the Sec: of War the buildings erected by this Bureau for educational purposes, & borne on its returns, any used for like purposes, owned by the Am: Miss: Assn. were on the 1st inst. transferred to said assn. and should be dropped from the returns when borne there, or, they are situated as follows - viz:

1st on "Howard Farm" Mill Creek, Eliz City Co. Va
2nd Calvert St, Norfolk, Va
3rd In Hampton, Va
4th on "Little Scotland" Eliz City Co. Va.

Attention is also invited to enclosed copy of communication from the Commissioner dated January 18th 1869 and approved by the Sec: of War, respecting the disposition to be made of school furniture. Property of this character situated as stated in said communication will be disposed of as therein contemplated.
