Charles Carter late priv Co "G" 2nd U.S.C. Cav is an applicant for pension.

He was discharged at Fort Monroe July 1865. He claims to have been wounded by a tree cut off by a canon shot in the attack on Fort Harrison Va. in the fall of 1864. The tree falling on his right shoulder.

His arm appears at the present time to be very much disabled.

Please fill out enclosed certificates, if you are cognizant of the facts required to be proved and swear to the same as required therein. 

The fees will be remitted to you as soon as their amount is known
