8th The American Missionary Association is also sustaining an Industrial School, and doing other work there for the general good of the Colored People; and if they can with these statements of facts have the control of the Govt Schoolhouse and appurtenances they are able and willing to furnish all the educational facilities which the wants of the Freedmen in this locality demand; processing and paying a suitable number of qualified Teachers for the Education of all the children and youth in that neighborhood.
