6th  Did you subsequently rent said house to another white man — if aye — give his name.

7th  Have the negroes clubbed together and wantonly destroyed all you (their former master) possessed in Sheds, stables, barns, outhouses, plows harness — all except the house over your head — if aye — have you now, or have you had, proof as to who burned the barns — if aye — give their names

8th  Did you or did you not make complaint to the Agent, of the Freedmens Bureau at Fredericksburg Va, that your barn with contents - consisting of grain_ farming utensils - harnesses &c, was burned on the night of the seventh or morning of the eighth of January Ultimo — if aye — please state what interest was manifested or action taken by the Agent of the Bureau aforesaid to ferret out and bring to justice the guilty parties.
