Norfolk June 6th/65

My dear Captain:
Your order in relation to the colored occupants of Rear of No 43 Bank St. has not been complied with. On receiving your assurance that we should have the premises, we sent to Balto for our Machinery, which with our Superintendant and Laundresses will arrive here to morrow morning. Mr Johnson tells me that all he wants is your order to remove them & he will have the place cleared. As we are willing to pay rent & at present you receive none, the Government will gain thereby - Please attend to this & oblige

Yours Fraternally
Wm H Stiner

P.S. I leave for N.Y. tonight S.
