In obedience to orders received from the Commissioner of this Bureau, the property of Julia A. H. Johnston will be restored to her if she will make satisfactory arrangement with the tenants living on said property. II. Capt. C.B. Welder A.Q.M. will relieve Capt. A.S. Flagg A.Q.M. of the superintendence of the following counties in the 1st Dist. viz. Matthews, Gloucester, York, Warwick, Elizabeth City, James City, Charles City, New Kent and King William. This division will hereafter be known as the 9th Dist. of Va. III. Capt Flagg will turn over to Capt. Wilder all property and papers belonging to this Bureau, in the above named counties. O. Comr 39 Special Order No. 37 August 22nd 1865 As far as any Jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Mr. Claus Frede, consisting of one (1) frame house and lot at City Point, Pr. George County, Va is restored to him with all the rights and privilege of ownership. O. Brown Col. & Asst. Comr Special Order No. 38 August 23rd 1865 Capt D. W. Bohonon, 2nd N. H. Vols. having reported for duty in this Bureau, in accordance with Special Orders, No. 216, Par. I, Hd. Qrs dept. of Va. dated at Richmond, Va, August 10th 1865, is hereby ordered to report for duty to Capt. T. F. P. Crandon, A.Q.M. and Supt & 4th Dist of Va. at Gordonsville, Va. O. Brown Col. & Asst. Comr Special Orders No. 39 August 25th 1865 I. As far as any jurisdiction of the Bureau extends over it, the property of Mr. Joseph N. Miles consisting of three houses and lots in the City of Portsmouth, Va.
