Special Orders
No 75

I. So far any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Thomas Hume consisting of a house and lot, situate at the North West intersection of Court and North Streets, in the City of Portsmouth Va, also a house and lot situate on the East side of Fifth Street, in that part of the City of Portsmouth Va, called Gosport with all personal property, is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, upon the following conditions viz:-

1st The property will be turned over to Thomas Hume, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists.

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or rents which may have accrued.

II. So far any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of James H. Carney, dec'd consisting of a farm, situate lying and being in Norfolk County Va, is restored to Thomas Hume executor of James H. Carney dec'd with all the rights and privileges of ownership subject to the requirements of Circular No.3 C. S. War Dept. Bureau A. F. & A. L and upon

the following conditions - Viz:-

1st The property will be turned over to Thomas Hume, Executor of James H. Carney, dec'd, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists.

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or rents which may have accrued.

Skinner, consisting of a house and lot, situated on the Southwest corner of Brewer and Charlotte Streets, in the City of Norfolk Va is restored to her with all the rights and privileges of ownership, upon the following conditions - Viz:-

1st The property will be turned over to Clara W.Skinner, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists.

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling her to compensation for damages to the property or rents which may have accrued.
