1st The property will be restored to W.H.S. Holcroft upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists.

2nd That nothing in this order be construed, as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property, or to rents which may have accrued.

V....So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Joseph  R. Anderson, consisting of a tract of land, situated in Elizabeth City County, VA, is restored to him, with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8, Cir. 15, Series 1865, War Department, Bureau R.F. & A.L,  and upon the following conditions, Viz:

Assistant Superintendents of this Bureau, will, on the receipt of this Circular, immediately call on the clerks of the County Courts, or corporations of their respective Sub-Districts, for the following information, forwarding answers to these interrogatories at once through their Superintendents to these Head Quarters:

1st.-The amount of county levy required to be paid by each tithable person in the county.

2nd.-The amount of poor levy in each county.

3d.-What class of colored males are exempt from county and poor tax.

4th.-What amount is laid on real estate per $100 valuation to defray county levy and poor tax.

5th.-What is the comparative number of colored tithables with the white tithables.
