132. Special order No. 100 June 23, 1866 I So much of Special order No. 38 C.S. Hd Quarters, Superintendent 2nd Dist, Bureau R F. and A.L. Va, as relates to Brevet Captain D.J. Connelly. assuming charge of that District, during the absence of Captain Stuart Barnes Superintendent, is hereby revoked. II Paragraph (2) two of Special Order No. 97 C.S. Head Quarters, Assistant Commissioner, Bureau R.F. and A.L. Va relating to the property of George W. Brooks is hereby revoked. III So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Mrs Elizabeth Latimer, consisting of two lots of land, situated in the town of Hampton, Elizabeth City County, Va, is restored to her with all the rights and privileges of ownership subject to the requirements of par 8. Cir. 15, Series 18/15, War Department, Bureau R.F. & A.L. and upon the following conditions, viz: 1st The property will be restored to Mrs Elizabeth Latimer upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties, if any exists. 2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling her to compensation for damages to the property, or to rents which may have accrued. See next page 133. IV So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of James G. Council, consisting of a tract of land situated in Northhampton County, Va, is restored to him with the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8. Cir 15, Series 1865, War Department, Bureau, R.F.& A.L. upon the following conditions, viz: 1st The property will be restored to James G. Council upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists. 2. That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property, or to rents which may have accrued. V So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of James D. Smith consisting of a house and lot, situated on Crabb Street, in the city of Portsmouth, Va, is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership upon the following conditions viz: 1st the property will be restored to James T. Smith upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists. 2d That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.
