I Bvt. Maj. M. S. Hopkins. 1st Lieut VRC is hereby relieved from duty as Asst Supt of Prince Williams County Va, and assigned to duty as Asst. Supt of Orange and Louisa Counties Va, with Head Quarters at Gordonsville Va. and will turn over all Records and papers appertaining to his Office to 2nd Lieut W.S. Chase V.R.C.

II 2nd Lieut W.S. Chase V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty as Asst. Supt. Rappahannock Co. Va and will in addition to his present duties assume charge of Prince William County Va. with Head Quarters at Warrenton Va. Lieut. Chase will turn over all Books and Records belonging to Rappahannock Co. to Bvt. Capt. W.A. MacNutty V.R.C.

III Bvt Capt. W.A. MacNutty 2. Liet V.R.C. is hereby relieved from duty as Asst. Supt. Orange County Va. and will in addition to his present duties assume charge of Rappahannock Co Va. with Head Quarters at Culpeper [[?]] and will turn over the Records of Orange Co. to Bvt. Maj. M.S. Hopkins V.R.C.

IV So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Jonathan H. Nixon consisting of a tract of land situated in Loudon County, Va. is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8, Cir. 15, Series 1865 War Department Bureau R.F. and A.L. and upon the following conditions, viz --

1st the property will be restored to Jonathan H. Nixon upon the expiration of the lease to any third

party or parties if any exist

2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling the owner to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.

Superintendents will at once take measures for the purpose of furnishing these Head Quarters with the following information in regard to Freedmen within their respective Districts, viz: --

First, Names of all Deaf, Dumb, or blind Negroes.
Second, Residence or present whereabouts.
Third, Condition.
Fourth, Age and sex.
Fifth, Whether Deaf, Dumb, or Blind.
Sixth, Occupation.
Seventh, Under whose charge and care.
