Supt. of the County of Norfolk, Va. embracing the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth, with his Head Quarters at Norfolk, Va. He will turn over to his successor Bot. Major G.P. Sherwood, Captain V.R.C., all books, papers and property belonging to the Bureau or J.M. Dept. in his possession - and will report in person to Bot. Maj. J.H. Lands, Dept. of the Potomac, will proceed to the towns of Staunton, Winchester and Harpers Ferry, Va. for the purpose of investigating affairs connected with the Bureau at these places.
