34 35 By Command of Bvt. Maj. Genl. J. M. Schofield, Asst. Commissioner O. Brown A.A.A. Genl. Head Quarters Dept. of the Potomac Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and A. Lands. Richmond, Va. March 13th, 1867. Special Orders No. 34 [[left margin]] Genl. Howard Genl. Armstrong W. Massenberg [[/left margin]] I. So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of W. Massenberg, consisting of a lot of land, with buildings thereon, situate at Hampton Creek, Elizabeth City County, Va. is restored to him with all the rights & privileges of ownership, upon the following conditions, viz: 1st. The property will be restored to W. Massenberg upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists. 2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued. [[left margin]] Genl. Howard Maj. Morse Robert A. Ish [[/left margin]] II. So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extend over it, the property of Robert A. Ish, consisting of a tract of land containing Three hundred and thirty two and 1/2 acres (332 1/2), more or less, situated in the County of Loudon, Va. is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8, Cir. 15, Series 1865, War Dept. Bureau R. F. and A. Lands. and upon the following conditions, viz: 1st The property will be restored to Robert A. Ish, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties, if any exists. 2nd. That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued [[left margin]] Genl. Howard Maj. Morse Betsy C. Mason [[/left margin]] III. So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of Mrs. Betsy C. Mason, known on the land records of this office as the property of Francis Mason, consisting of four (4) tracts of land situated in the County of Loudon, Va. is restored to her with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par. 8, Cir. 15, Series 1865, War Dept. Bureau R. F. & A. Lands and upon the following conditions, viz: 1st. The property will be restored to Mrs. Betsy C. Mason upon the expiration of the lease, to any third party, or parties if any exists. 2nd. Duval, consisting of a lot of land with building thereon, situated at West Point, King William County, Va. is restored to him with all rights and privileges of ownership subject to the following conditions, viz: 1st. The property will be restored to Dr. P. P. Duval, upon the expiration of the lease to any third party or parties if any exists. 2nd That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.
