I.. Leave of absence, to go out of this State, is hereby granted to the following named officer, for seven (7) days, to take effect from June 1st 1867, viz:

Captain N.M. Brooks, V.R.C.

Capt. Lee.
F. McCabe.
 
II. So far as any jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property of F. McCabe, known on the land records of this office as the property of B.W. Hunter, consisting of a tract of land containing Four hundred and four (404) acres, more or less, situated in the County of Alexandria, Va., is restored to him with all the rights and privileges of ownership, subject to the requirements of Par, 8, Cir. 15, Series 1865, War Dept., Bureau R.F. and A.L., and upon the following conditions, viz:

1st. The property will be restored to F. McCabe upon the expiration of the lease to any third party, or parties, if any exists.

2nd. That nothing in this order be construed as entitling him to compensation for damages to the property or to rents which may have accrued.

The attention of officers and agents of this Bureau is called to Par. 1., Page 28, D, Bureau officers Manual.

Hereafter it will be the duty of officers and agents, of this Bureau, to report to these Hd. Qrs. any instance in which ambulances, carts, or wagons are used for any other purpose than that for which they are allowed.
