I.. Leave of absence to go out of this state is hereby granted to the following named officer for twenty (20) days, with the privilege of applying for an extension of ten (10) days.

Capt. George. Q. White, 44th U.S. Infty.

II. Captain Geo. Q. White, 44th U.S. Infty, Chf. Q.M. and D.O., will proceed to Fort Monroe, Va., on duty for this Bureau, the same being completed he will take advantage of his leave of absence.

I.. 2nd. Lieut. William Shields, 44th U.S.I, having relieved from duty in this District, will then over to his successor, 2nd Lieut. W. S. Chase, V.R.C, all books and papers relating to Bureau affairs in 2nd Div.
10th. Sub. Dist., comprising the County of Fairfax, Va.

II.. 2nd Lieut. W. S. Chase, V.R.C, having been reassigned to duty in this District, is hereby assigned to duty as A.S.A Comr. in charge of 2nd. Div., 10th Sub. Dist., comprising the county of Fairfax, Va. with his Head Qrs at Falls Church, Va., relieving 2nd Lieut. William Shields, 44th U.S.I from whom he will receive all books and papers relating to Bureau affairs in the above named county.

Lieut. Chase will report by letter, to Bvt. Lt. Col. S.P. Lee, U.S.A, Sub. Dist. Asst. Comr. in charge 10th Sub. Dist. Va., at Alexandria Va., for further instructions.
