Dist., Bureau R.F. & A.L, Va., will under Par 3 General Order No 51, C.S, Hd Quarters, 1st Military Dist, Va., transfer all indigent Freedpeople, under his charge, in the City of Petersburg and Counties of Prince George and Dinwiddie, except those in Hospital to the overseers of the Poor of the above name city and counties.- [[left margin]] Maj. A Board to consist of the following named officers is hereby appointed to meet at Fort Monroe Va., on Monday the 16th day of September 1867, or as soon thereafter as practicable, for examination of and report upon the claim for rent of the loyal owners of "Chesapeake Female College" for the months of June, July, August and September, 1866, viz: Capt. Garrick Mallery, Bvt. Maj. US.A. 1st Lt. M.S. Reed, V.R.C. 1st Lt, F.J. Massey, Bvt. Capt. V.R.C. O Brown Bvt. Brig. Genl Vols Asst. Surg. DeLamater Col. Lee [[/left margin]] I.. Bvt. Lt. Col. J.J. DeLamater, U.S. Vols, Surgeon in chief, Bureau R.F. & A.L., Dist. of Va., will proceed without delay to Alexandria, Va., for the purpose of inspecting the condition of the Medical Department of the Bureau at that place.
