The Assistant Superintendents of Schools in this District will, in accordance with instructions received from the Bvt. Maj. General Commissioner of March 5th 1869, close their offices, discharge all employees, and forward to these Head Quarters, all records pertaining to the Bureau, in their possession, by the 31st of March 1869.

They will instruct all Teachers, hereafter, to make their monthly reports to R.M. Manly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Bureau R.F & A Lands, at Richmond, Va; and also to make direct application to him for all blanks and information relating to Schools.
