I  Whereas it is at present inexpedient to remove the freed people to any extent from the farm of Mr. William O. Slade in Fairfax Co. Virginia or to sell the Government interest in the crops thereon but Mr Slade having taken the Amnesty Oath, and his family being dependent upon the Government for support, he is allowed to move on said farm with his family and there build for himself and them a home provided he does not disturb the present occupancy until all rights growing out of the assurance given by the Government to the persons thereon be fully secured, one of which is the right to gather the growing crop.
