DISTRICT NO. 9, STATE OF VIRGINIA,
FORT MONROE, VA., February1 10th 1866

I. Capt. James H. Remington 1st Regt V.R.C. having reported for duty, in Dist. No 9, in obedience to S.O. No. 28. C.S. Richmond, Va., is hereby appointed Asst. Supt. and assigned to duty in the county of Charles City, Va., will without delay relieve Lieut. James H. Sunks. Asst. Supt. and enter upon the discharge of his duties in said county.
II. Lieut. James J. Sunks. 8th Me. Vols. is hereby relieved from duty as Asst. Supt. in Dist. No. 9. Va. and will immediately turn over all property, papers, books, funds &c. pertaining to the Bureau of Refugees &c, in the county of Charles City Va. to Capt. James H. Remington. Asst. Supt.
