DISTRICT NO. 9, STATE OF VIRGINIA,
FORT MONROE, VA., February 5th 1866

I.  2d Lieut. Lemuel K. Morton, 15th Regt. V.R.C. having reported for duty in District No 9. State of Va. in obedience to S.O. No 25. C.S. Richmond, Va, is hereby appointed Asst Supt and assigned to duty in the county of Gloucester Va. and will without delay relieve Capt. E.W. Wiley, Asst. Supt. and enter upon the duties of his office in said county.

II.  Capt. E.W. Wiley, 8th Me. Vols is hereby relieved from duty in Dist. No 9. State of Va. and will immediately turn over all property, papers, funds &c. belonging to the Bureau of Refugees &c. in the county of Gloucester, to Lieut. Lemuel K. Morton Asst Supt.
