2 - Paragraph 4, of Special Orders No. 169, from these Head Quarters, dated November 9th, 1867, is hereby amended to read as follows:

(4) - The following named officers will, on receipt of this Order, report, by letter, to Brevet Brigadier General O. Brown, Assistant Commissioner, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, District of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, for assignment to duty in that Bureau.
On being assigned by that officer, they will be relieved from their present duties, and will at once comply with his instructions.
 
1st Lieutenant J. L. Johnston, 21st U. S. Infantry.  
2nd Lieutenant A. R. Egbert, 21st U. S. Infantry.
