Major,

I have the honor to enclose papers in the Vanderfoul case. I have examined the accounts very thoroughly and with all the slaughtering and mutilating that my conscences will allow I can make but-small assets clear the ofulness [[?]] as you will see neither forty and any two cherrful over the frostful-but-the arrangements of their accounts and strictly just-swell I am satisfied that so freely satisfactory arrangement can be made
Mr Vanderfoul being totally "dead broke" and very [[sore]] over his bad luck and as the investigation swoop in a high ground with all his fondness and his [[?]] for several months past-the [[Fressillmer]] on their just are very involved-ness deserved a great-deal miss tres thing has any [[sight-in]] expect-from any settlement. You never will hear anything more from this [[floor]] if [[sittusels]] in this [[mension]] for both portions and abunt-worried out, [[?]] of cother will be sufficient to bring all other acts. I would suggest that all the sill-be released. Mr Vanshez [[?]] the 8 bales may go or around [[?]] with their [[?]] matters be will forgotten $16[[?]] and hour this bale.
