David Arthur MoMurray, the translator of "West Indies Ltd." by Nicolás Guillén is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Alberta, Canada.

Audre Lorde has two volumes of poetry to her credit and has been published in several anthologies. She is a teacher of Black Literature at John Jay College, New York City.

Loyle Hairston is a Contributing Editor of FREEDOMWAYS who writes frequently here and in other journals.
