Freedmen's Court[[/left margin]]
The circular containing instructions for the organization of Freedmens Court has been complied with, and the court holds regular Sessions for the purpose appointed.

[[left margin]] Orders Published[[/left margin]]
Circulars and orders So far as addressed to & for the public have been republished from this office.

[[left margin]] Support themselves [[/left margin]]
The freedmen now generally understand that they must Support themselves by their own labor, and are now doing it. They are very willing to work for fair prices, there may be a few exceptions to this, when what seemed to be fair offers have been refused-mostly founded upon some former treatment of themselves or others. There have been no rations issued during January.

[[left margin]]Feeling of Whites[[/left margin]]
The feeling existing between the Whites and freedmen-on the part of the Whites is good, with few exceptions where they have endeavored to take advantage of the ignorance of freedmen.

The feeling of the freedmen towards their former owners is generally good, at the Same time they are distrustful. This distrust Seems to arise from the
