I have the honor to submit the following report on the condition of the Freedmen in Greensvill County Va for the month ending May 31 1866.

Since my last report a marked change for the better has taken place throughout the county, the Freedmen are working with greater diligence than heretofore, and begin more definately, to understand the difference between, labor and Capital. The Whites show every disposition to treat them kindly, and award them fair wages, and punctual payment, for their labor.
