I have the honor in compliance with Circular No 6, C.S. Hd. Qrs. Asst. Comr, Richmond Va. to make the following report of the conditions of Bureau affairs in this Sub District. There is good feeling generally existing between the whites and Freedmen. The latter are giving very good satisfaction, and I hear much more praise than blame from their employers many of whom have informed me they never before had so much labor performed during harvest by the same number of hands and they seemed well satisfied with free labor, The Freedmen who
