and trivial causes, some have consented to their return to the same on my advice. There is some prejudice when before a magistrate of leaning towards the side of the white man rather than the black. His prejudice somewhat disappears when before the county court, believed to be on account of its being removed from home and the responsibility falling upon many rather than one, and they not thrown in the immediate every day walk of parties interested. I do not say that this prejudice is great but that it is noticeable.

The General health of this sub-Dist has been good  no disease contagious or Epidemic has made its appearance. 
There is no particular demand for labor in this sub-Dist. the supply & demand about equal.

There are no schools in this sub-Dist. but many anxious for such advantages.
