Bvt. Brig Genl O. Brown
Actg. Asst. Adjt. General
Richmond Va.

General.
I have the honor to report that the state of feeling existing between the White People and Freedmen of Patrick and Henry Counties Va. continues the same as heretofore reported. I have been engaged during the past month in superintending the division of the crop in cases where the parties mutually expressed the desire for me to it and as the past season has been fruitful one the majority of the Freedmen have been quite well for their services.

I am Gen'l
Very Respectfully
