I have the honor to report that affairs in general pertaining to the Bureau have undergone very little change if any since my last report. The number of unmarried women who have large families of young children have not decreased in number and unless some provision is made for them they will be bound to suffer this winter

They have an utter abhorrance to apprenticing their children, although good and comfortable homes could be obtained from the whites, for their children apprentices.

Very Respectfully
Your Obt Servant
