the assemblage regardless of Race or Colors 
No obstruction is placed in their way of Attending meetings if the so desire but although quickly gaining information of those in whom they have Confidence the Freedmen of this County as yet have not shown a a disposition to neglect their work to attend frequent public meetings as has been the case in some other Counties 
Very little sickness prevails in the County, and 
there is a good prospect of excellent crops although at this time there is apprehended danger
of Rust in the Wheat Crop.
Arrangements are being made which bid fair to be successful to establish a school for the Freedmen at this place, which with the reorganization of a Sabbath School by those connected with the Episcopal Church here are the only changes in school matters since my last report.
No Claims have been made upon me by destitute Freedmen during the month and I have no Cases that do not receive the attention of the Civil authorities.
I have distributed some seeds that have been sent me for distribution by the Coms of Agriculture which have been gratefully received.
