In compliance with instructions contained in Circular No.6. dated Bureau R.F. and A.L. Head Quarters Assistant Commissioner State of Va. Richmond Va. January 30th, 1866 I have the honor respectfully to submit the following report. With reference to the pecuniary conditions of the Freedmen I am able to state that the embarrassing circumstances which necessarily placed numbers dependant upon the Bureau are gradually disappearing. 

In the Counties of Henrico and Chesterfield the corn crop will be unusually large; when this is harvested it remains with the Bureau to care only
