Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands,
HEAD QUARTERS, 3d Division 11th Sub-District Virginia,
Boydton, Va. March 31st 1868.

Col Jno W Jordan
Sub Asst Comr. Bureau RF and AL
Farmville Va.

Colonel:
I have the honor to make the following report on Bureau affairs for March 1868, Viz:

That nearly all of the Freedmen are at work, and they are anxious to have schools.

I have a few cases in this Division of very old colored people that need food, and clothing, but they will not go to the Alms House at present, their ages range from 65 to 95 years. I have heard fewer complaints this month than during either of the two past months.

Very Respectfully
Your Obedient Servant
Geo W Graham
Asst Sub Asst Commr
Bureau RF and AL
