Gen'l
I have the honor to report in compliance with Circular No 6. Hd. Qrs. Asst. Com. District of Va. that Bureau affairs in this Division have improved since my last report in the following manner.

First one additional School house has been rented by the Bureau. and arrangements have been made by one subject to the approval of the Asst. Com. for the renting of another. Besides this the Freedmen are fast being educated in their duties and privileges as Citizens. All of which I think is to be attributed to the operations of the Bureau.
