General:
I have the honor to submit the following Report upon Bureau Affairs for the month of July 1868.
As nothing worthy of note has transpired since last Report, I have little new matter to present.  I have some light articles of clothing which were sent from Natick, but the flannel &c. I think will be more useful when cold weather sets in.  There seems to be some slight indications of a disposition on the part of some persons to make trouble with those Freedmen who have rented land from them, and, now that the crops are pretty much worked through, to drive them from their farms. This game has been played in the past, with some effect, and I have felt it my duty to take strong ground against any such designs. The corn crop
