Danville. No transportation is posessed by the Bureau for sending guard to Rocky Mount. While the military objects to sending out soldiers alone. 
The property is respectfully suggested of turning herein mentioned criminal cases and those similar over in the civil authorities for trial and disposition.  From reports received at this office there seems a disposition in Franklin County to treat freedmen with justice and no hesitation in full as to testing it. While an officer is stationed there.
