lines 3-6: almost certain this is "Jones" misspelled as "Johes". one property is described as bordered on S by H. Lewellyn's land, and H. Lewellyn's land is described as bordered on N by J. Jones's land. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-05-28 10:32:26 I agree with previous comment that Johes was intended to be Jones. As much as I try to minimize use of brackets (and rarely to correct spelling mistakes), when it is not really clear what the writer meant I think it is appropriate to use them--especially for names because they are the frequent subject of searches. If others feel strongly not to have the brackets, please remove. -S.C.
