I have the honor to inform you that Albert M. Aiken of Akins Ldg James Kruse called on me this day in reference to certain property claimed by him; now in possession of your Bureau having particular reference to a line shaft belonging to his Mill at "Varina." He has also exhibited to me certain official papers in reference to this case among which is a report bearing date Aug 17th/65 signed "Francis Frank Supt., which states that the shaft
