I have the honor respectfully to ask to be restored the possession of the following articles of Household furniture which were taken from my Home during the late Rebellion  Viz -
One (1) Table - One (1) Book Case or Secretary, One (1) Bureau -

The said articles are now at the Downey Farm in the County of Elizabeth City and are under the control of Mr Badger  My title to the said articles I can establish beyond any doubt or cavil I am,
