Sir: I respectfully apply for restoration of two houses & lots in this city (No. 46. Cumberland Street & 88 Main Street) belonging to the heir at law of David Caiter, Dec', of Hyde County, State of North Carolina.

The accompanying paper, Marked "A" in the Certificate of the City Clerk that evidences of little in the heirs of said Caiter are on record in his office and are open to inspection. 

Paper marked "B" contains Certificate of the Clark District Court of the United States that no proceedings for the confiscation of this property have been commenced in said court. 

Paper marked "C" is the Affidavit of the applicant, presided by the President in his Proclamation of Amnesty. 

David Caiter, the purchaser of these houses and lots, died in Hyde County, North Carolina, in the month of June.
