City Point July 21st 1865

We the undersigned citizens of Prince George County State of Va do hereby certify that we are well acquainted with Edward Comer of said County and know him to be the legal owner of a tract of land called Cawsen near City Point containing about 454 1/2 acres  also lot at City Point and Cottage House thereon of 1 3/4 acres.  also another lot at City Point containing one acre also one undivided interest in wharf lot at City Point owned jointly by himself and Christopher Proctor.
