Col. I beg leave most respectfully to submit for your consideration the following facts. John Gambol of the county of Warwick died many years before the war, seized and possessed a tract of land containing about nine hundred and fifty acres, leaving four children to Widow Henrietta Elizabeth, Anna, and Taylor Gambol, infants of tender years. That I qualified in the County Court of Warwick as guardians of the aforesaid minors. That the land above described is the only estate the possess. The aforesaid land is not occupied by Freedmen. I most respectfully request the restoration of the said tract of land to me as guardian as aforesaid in accordance, with the recent order from Washington restoring all property, which has not been confiscated or sold to its rightful owners.
