A. Gregory shall hereafter, at any time — acquire any property whatever in slaves, or make use of slave labor [[strikethrough]] ed [[/strikethrough]], and that he first pay all costs which may have accrued in any proceedings hitherto instituted against his person or property.

And upon the further conditions, that the said William A. Gregory. shall notify the secretary of state. in writing, that, he has Received and accepted the foregoing pardon

In testimony where of, I have hereunto signed my name and caused this seal of the United States to be affixed
