Simon S. Stubbs a Notary Public in the City aforesaid in the State of Virginia hereby Certify, that Benjamin T. Bockner whose name is signed to the writing hereto annexed bearing date on the 14th day of December 1861, has acknowledged the same before me in the City aforesaid. Given under my hand this 14th day of Decr 1861.

I Simon S. Stubbs a Notary Public in the City aforesaid in the state of Virginia hereby certify that Sarah Elizabeth Bockner the wife of Benjamin T. Bockner, whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed bearing date on the 14th day of Decr 1861, personally appeared before me in the City aforesaid, and being examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her, the, the said Sarah Elizabeth Bockner, acknowledged the said writing to be her act,and declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it. Given under my hand this 14th day of Decr 1861.
