The Petition of Leonora S. Jones, of the City of Norfolk, respectfully represents, that she is the owner in fee simple of a House and Lot at the South East intersection of Catharine and Wolf streets in the said City, conveyed to her by Francis Mallory Executor of Alice Anne Mallory by deed dated the 9th day of Januay 1860, and of record in the Clerk's Office of the Court of the Corporation of said City, as will appear by the certificate of the clerk of the Court of the said City, herewith filed and which she asks may be taken as a part of this her said petition.  This House & Lot your petitioner occupied from the date of said deed until 19th day of October 1863, when she left for the City of Richmond under a flag of truce and by the permission of the authorities then in charge of Norfolk.  That her object in leaving Norfolk was to join her husband, Fayette Jones, then in Richmond, and who had gone there as she believed and was so informed by him to seek and obtain employment which he was unable to ob
