and she has taken the required oath - which is herewith enclosed - and has lawfully and truly kept the same. 

The said property consists of one dwelling House and Lot, one Store House, and one small tract of woods land (about 10 acres) situated in and near the village of Onancock - [[strikethrough]] all which is Endors [[/strikethrough]] in value not more than Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000). Your Petitioner further represents that this property is her sole possession, and that by its deprivation she has been reduced to a condition of extreme dependence & distress, while her property they heed, has been subjected to immeasurable damages & depredations, which have greatly impaired it's value. It is now occupied, without her consent, by persons paying rent to the Government; and in consideration of these facts, she respectfully asks that with the release of the property itself, she may be authorized to receive the rents of the current year, at the expiration thereof, with due regard to the rights of the tenants.

Your petitioner earnestly prays the early consideration of her application.
