This deed, made this 1st day of August in the year eighteen hundred and sixty one between Matthew O'Keefe of the one part and William H.C. Ellis of the other part, Witnesseth: That the said Matthew O'Keefe doth grant unto the said William H.C. Ellis all that lot or parcel of land situated on Main Street in the City of Norfolk, being the same this day conveyed by Thomas J. Corfrew to the said Matthew O'Keefe, and which was conveyed to the said Thomas J. Corfrew by and of John D. Gordan and Susan, his wife, bearing date on the day of January 1854, and of record in the Clerk's office of the Corporation Court of the City of Norfolk.

In trust, to secure to Thomas J. Corfrew the payment of a certain bond bearing date even with these presents, for the sum of fourteen hundred dollars-
