0942 appurtenances unto him the said John Owens his heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend against the claim or demand of all persons whomsoever. In testimony thereof the said Charles Brennaman and Catherine his wife have hereto set their hands and seals this day and date first herein written Charles Brennaman his X mark {seal} Catherine Brennaman {seal} Signed sealed & delivered in presence of Jas. E. Wilson Norfolk County To Wit. We Jas. E. Wilson and Overton Bernard Justices of the peace in and for the County aforesaid do hereby certify that Catherine the wife of Charles Brennaman parties to the annexed deed personally appeared before us in our County aforesaid and being examined by us privily and apart from her husband and having the deed aforesaid fully explained to her she the said Catherine Brennaman acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and declared that she had willingly signed sealed and delivered the same and that she wished not to retract it. Given under our hands and seals this 19th day of March 1850. Jas. E.
